One day at our circus workshop.
We all went to the hall. It was so fun. George said meet my partner Lil.We were all thinking what are we going to do bouncing with joy. We were jumping up and down while Lil was saying hello and said we will be teaching you some tricks like miming and acrobatics. I did acrobatics, it was so fun. We did bunk beds. With George we did miming. It was fun. We tried to pull a poll out of a box.

I can smell crimson blood dripping on the torn battle fields
I can hear guns and bombs and people screaming out for help
I can see peoples faces and hands shaking, lying on the field
I can touch the red poppy flower in the grass
I can taste the mud and grass on my old itchy jacket
Moment in time
I was climbing down i was shuffling back, my hands were moving with the rope, the instuctor was helping me and talking im still on.
Making my way down i was concetrating looking down at the rope all the people up there were talking and cheering I started to get a funny feeling in my tummy. My heart was beating so fast . Moving back i was on the green spot i could n't see all my friends i felt more and more scared i was at the bottom i made it i was so felieved.
Circus work shop.
Last week room 10 was jumping with wonder as we walked into the hall we all pushed in like a mob of bears.
George made us walk around with music rotating us.Suddenly george said get in a group of two with five toes touching. Then george handed us to lil,we did all kinds of stretches like happy cat and sad cat. Then she said im going to number you. Number one and number two. Group one went with George to learn mime. We acted how to push people over and create slap stick moves. After that the groups got swapped. We all pushed and shaved leaping though we were like a mob of ants. Next was acrobatics lil taught us how to do "bunk beds" and make a chair . It was so amazing we had to buddy up in groups. We all asked george and lil to do some tricks , but they said we had to wait antill the show. Finaly we all got into a big circle and held hands, pulling apart and leaning back linking and balancing. Some of room 10 fell over and got draged around the slippery slidey floor. thank you for reading this Sammie.

New Zealand have erased all memories of the Beijing debacle and created a major wave at the Olympic women's hockey tournament, beating Australia last night It was the first time in five Olympic matches New Zealand have avoided defeat against the most successful side in history who have won three gold mealds. New Zealand have three wooden spoons and a whole lot of sob stories to take home from their Olympic travels An early Cathryn Finlayson goal was all it took to kick-start the campaign and New Zealand displayed a combination of dash and The goal was not a thing of beauty - the ball fell into the path for the black sticks. The goal was not a thing of beauty - the ball fell into the path of Finlayson off a rebounded penalty corner effort - but it was a beautiful thing. New Zealand's pace troubled Australia initially, but then they got narrow and dragged the Hockeyroos back into the match. "We need to use around the outside a bit more. We kept trying to cut infield," pacy winger Anita Punt said. "I think it was just nerves and trying to do things that we don't usually do." "Tell me about it," retorted Hager. "That wasn't the message, to go through the middle. We spoke about going outside, giving the ball early but for some reason we get tired and start to run the ball through the middle of the pitch. Against teams like Australia you can't do that. They're too talented." What New Zealand did absolutely by the book was scramble well and contest every 50-50 ball like the match rested on it. They also had an in-form Bianca Russell in goal. Twice she stopped Emily Smith at point-blank range, the second time seeming to take the wind out of the favourites' sails. "It was a really good effort in defence," Punt said. "We haven't held a 1-0 lead from the start for a very long time so it was good." The clock seemed to stall when it reached five, but New Zealand, with Clarissa Eshuis and Russell's reassuring presences, were not to be denied. After Beijing, then NZOC secretary-general Barry Maister lambasted the performance of New Zealand's team sports and the women's hockey team were the worst. This side is almost unrecognisable from the 2008 version and should not pay for the sins of its predecessors, but you cannot ignore the fact this programme is in need of some Olympic redemption. Australia was a tough introduction. Familiarity breeds not so much contempt but conspiracy, with the Hockeyroos accusing New Zealand of a spying raid during a recent four-nations series in Auckland. New Zealand's coach Mark Hager, an Australian, laughed off the claims, but said it proved that his compatriots were concerned about the challenge they posed.
